About Me
I started developing video games in 2020, initially learning Unity through various courses and familiarizing myself with design documentation. After early game versions developed with support from the Fiverr platform, I moved on to a Game Economy & QA course, gaining insight into the mobile gaming market.
I continued building prototypes on my own, experimenting with well-known mechanics (e.g., Match 3, Block Puzzles) while introducing innovative features. In parallel, I attended a three-year Game Design program in Padua, Italy, and recently graduated.
Some of my past experiences include a Talent Camp in Slovenia, a specialization course in Narrative Design, and an online game dev program I joined with a programmer friend, where we started building a mobile runner with multiplayer features.
Experience & Education
Game Economy & QA
Prophecy Digital
A four-month course on the infrastructure behind large-scale mobile titles, delivered by an Israeli startup, that focused on the relationship between retention, monetization, and game economy design, and the importance of creating features to improve these metrics. I also learned practical QA methods for daily production tasks.
Game Development
Solo Developer
I've collaborated with industry professionals to design and develop simple, accessible casual games, one of which is currently published on Google Play
Game Design
Event Horizon School
A three-year course in Game Design, delving into both theoretical and practical aspects of the field, accompanied by exercises and exams. The course was paired with active game development with other students as part of the program, and I gained experience working in large, multidisciplinary teams, including game designers, programmers, concept artists, and 3D artists.
O7 Talent Camp
Outfit7 Limited
A week-long Talent Camp in the capital of Slovenia, hosted by the creators of Talking Tom. Teamwork and rapid prototyping were at the core of the company's game jam. Together with fellow campers, I learned how teams collaborate effectively in a large studio, while having a lot of fun!
Narrative Design
Digital Bros
A six-month course in Narrative Game Design, learning the basics and exploring the many approaches to the discipline, along with proven methodologies and ready-to-use development tools.
